Steve Jorgenson, Founding Partner
As Managing Partner of Focal Solutions, Steve Jorgenson brings over 12 years of technology experience to the team. Prior to Focal Solutions, Mr. Jorgenson helped start an IP telephony company called Altivon for 3rd Wave Solutions. Altivon has been providing telecommunications equipment service to mid to large companies throughout Arizona for 18 years.

Previously, Mr. Jorgenson co-founded Focal Solutions, a provider of eCommerce, financial solutions, and managed services to medium-sized companies. Mr. Jorgenson focused on the business operations, sales and marketing, and strategic alliances for Focal Solutions, helping grow the company to $2 million in annual revenue in just three years. In April of 2004, Focal Solutions was sold to Lighthouse Communications of Des Moines, Iowa.

Mr. Jorgenson has also held positions in sales and marketing management at Imsure Network and Optisys, where he was instrumental in developing and managing US and international sales channels and strategic alliances. In addition to his role as Managing Partner for Focal Solutions, he has expanded into the senior housing business in Arizona, with three projects in process for Solterra Senior Housing.

Mr. Jorgenson has a Political Science degree from the University of Arizona College of Arts
and Science.

Chad Jacobs, Partner
Chad Jacobs brings more than 12 years of telecommunications industry experience to Focal Solutions. Mr. Jacobs joined Pillar Communications, a Phoenix-based VAR, with the vision of building a telecommunications agency line of business. It quickly became the most profitable line of business for the company. In order to facilitate the continued growth and expansion after a successful five year run, the company became an independent private company in July of 2007, and is now known as Focal Solutions.

Prior to Focal Solutions, Mr. Jacobs was National Account Manager at Global Crossing, where he consistently ranked among the top representatives in the Phoenix market. He was also a National Account Manager for MCI in Phoenix, leading top accounts in the Phoenix metropolitan area. He helped launch MCI's local service offering to the Phoenix market-one of the most successful local launches in the nation. Earlier in his carrier, Mr. Jacobs served as an Account Manager at US West (now Qwest), and was an attorney with the Law Offices of Jeffery Cohn, a Scottsdale-based law firm.

Mr. Jacobs holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from James Madison University and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
